A loan helped buy pigs to raise and resell.

01_Lehar Group's story

This nine-woman group is part of the banc villageois founded in the town in October 1995. They live in the same village and are parents, friends, and neighbors. They are unified women with great relationships. They have already repaid over 40 loans, and their main activity is business.

Madame Anasthasia, the group representative, is 38 years old and is pictured at right with her hand raised. She is married and the mother of five children, including one boy. All of her children go to school.

Madame Anasthasia fattens pigs. She buys her animals in the village and neighboring villages and raises them in her town. She has more than ten years of experience in this sector.

She will buy four pigs, four bags of pig feed, one package of gloves, and one pair of boots. She does her livestock farming in a park. She has no issues selling her animals, as her pigs produce high-quality meat.

She is using her income to grow her savings, pay for her children's schooling, and help her husband manage their household.
