Georgette's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy two medium pigs, cassava, corn, bran, rice and provisions to fatten up livestock.

Georgette's story

Georgette is a woman, age 52. She is married and mother to three children, one of whom is already independent. She lives in a village on the edge of the city. The family has a concrete house. She has a corner store. She also raises pigs and has done so for more than 15 years. She is a borrower with Vahatra. With her last loan, she acquired a rice paddy. Following that, she wishes to further invest in her pig raising operation to improve her revenue.

With the money from this loan, she will buy two medium pigs, cassava, corn, bran, rice and provisions to fatten up the livestock. She will resell her pigs at the butcher in the city after six months. She will buy more later. She plans to buy a cow with her profits.
