Inua Kazi / Nyawera Group's story

Madame Justine is a client of the Hekima IMF and leads the village group Inua Kazi/Nyawera. She is married, age 28 and mother of seven children, five of whom are in school, two of whom are younger. Her husband is unemployed.

She sells clothing; she started this business three years ago with startup funds received from her husband. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which she continued to evolve. With this new loan, she will obtain 30 pieces of pagnes [West African fabric for making garments], which will reinforce her initial capital. The challenge for her business is related to a lack of customers.

She would like for her children to be able to continue to go to school, and to develop her business. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to unbanked entrepreneurs in the context of the global COVID-19 crisis. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19 social distancing measures.
