Abishyizehamwe Cb Group's story

Olive is a married, 34-year-old mother of one five-year-old child. Her husband is a civil servant. For the past three years, Olive has owned a grocery store.

Olive is the leader of the group named ABISHYIZEHAMWE CB, which means, “People joined together". The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Olive will use her loan to buy more rice, sugar and soap to sell to her community in her store so that she can meet her customers' demands. With the profit from her sales, Olive will be able to provide for the family. Olive is grateful for the support of the lenders.

Note: Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
