Christian Enrique's story

Christian Enrique is a 42-year-old small entrepreneur from the city of Soledad, where he lives with his spouse. He has three years of experience as a retail merchant of food, beverages, vegetables, and household products among other things.

His father-in-law started up this trade job and then decided to sell it to Christian when he became unemployed. In this way, with the liquidation obtained in his employment, he decided to get more inventory and assets to enhance his new business. Over time, his sales have increased, which has given him the opportunity to establish himself in his neighborhood. He works in his business full time and it is his only source of income.

Thanks to this business, he has been able to provide his family with a better quality of life. But due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, his work level deteriorated because of biosafety concerns, and his income diminished drastically. This is why he is applying for his first Kiva loan with the Santo Domingo Foundation, with the goal of investing in the purchase of perishables and non-perishables, and household products.

Please consider helping him with his business loan.
