A loan helped to invest in a bulk purchase of batik fabric.

Endah's story

Endah is an artisan from Indonesia who specializes in batik apparel and accessories. She would like to invest in a bulk purchase of batik fabric. Endah has been selling through Novica since 2019. This is her story:

"My name is Endah and I was born in Denpasar, the capital city of Bali, Indonesia. I started working at the age of 19 after I graduated from senior high school in a boutique in Legian. Making batik is complicated for some people, but I found it interesting. My first design was a kimono. Starting from that time, I kept learning to make other clothing like tops, pants, dresses, etc.

"I feel grateful for all microcredit given to me. I hope it can help me to be able to replenish my products. Many local people are fighting for a living in this current situation, so I hope that I can help them too. Thank you very much. Stay happy, blessed, and healthy, always."
