Umugisha Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more Irish potatoes.

Umugisha Tcb Group's story

Annonciathe is a 51-year-old mother of four children who are between 14 and 31 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 20 years, Annonciathe has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the group named Umugisha Tcb, which in English means “Blessings.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Annonciathe will use her loan to buy more Irish potatoes to sell within her community and meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to construct a house in the future and also buy a piece of land so that she can do farming on it.

Annonciathe is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but was able to get one representative for the group photo.
