Olga's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy the necessary inputs for potato farming.

Olga's story

Olga, age 24, is single. She lives alone in a clay house in a rural village. She is a vegetable and livestock farmer and also works as a teacher's assistant in a school.
Olga wants to make progress. She decided to take out loans to develop her business. She pursued a microloan with Vahatra, who granted her a first loan for potato farming. She also benefits from Vahatra's health insurance. Olga was able to get a cow with the income generated from potato farming. She was also able to put some money into savings.
Olga is asking for the support of lenders at Kiva to help her continue potato farming. She needs 130 kg of seeds and 33 kg of chemical fertilizer and phytosanitary products.
She sells her products at a local market. Olga wants to save up to buy more productive farm land and continue farming.
