Perline's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy seeds, fertilizer, crop sanitation products, and pay for manual labour.

Perline's story

Perline, 44, is married with 5 children, including one who is already independent. The family owns a mud house located in a rural village. Perline has been growing carrots for more than 10 years. Her husband does casual work.

Perline recently joined Vahatra to take out a loan which was successful. She acquired a piglet with the profits.

Currently, she wishes to strengthen her business. She wants to increase the production of carrots in order to improve her income. For this, she needs the support of lenders to buy seeds, fertilizer, crop sanitation products, and pay for labour. Perline will resell the harvest to local buyers.

The profits earned will be used to grow different crops in the field.
