A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online educational needs during the pandemic.

Alifah's story

Alifa is 56 years old and married with three sons; one of her sons is seen here. To support the family, she sells foods while her husband sells vegetables.

One of Alifa’s children is still in school. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their family has been felt by the implementation of an online school system. This has made it difficult for their son to access course materials and send assignments to his teacher.

Alifa has applied for a loan of 2,400,000 IDR from KBMI at Kosambi Branch to buy a smartphone to meet her son’s online educational needs during the pandemic. While the family’s income is not sufficient to buy one out of pocket, she will be able to repay the loan incrementally by using the profits from their businesses.

Alifa wishes to create a happy life for her family. She is a hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children and works hard to improve their living conditions. She is very grateful for this opportunity and wants to thank all of her lenders.
