Jean Michel's story

Jean Michel, 40, is married with 4 children, and lives in his birth village with his family. He takes care of another member of his family.

Jean Michel is engaged with agriculture and livestock breeding, but he also sells zebu (humped cattle). He recently joined Vahatra, and opted for microloans in order to expand and improve his activities. Jean Michel needs to increase his income in order to carry out his projects to improve his family's daily life.

He obtained the first loan to grow potatoes. The profits were used to cover basic expenses like food, school fees etc. He also saved a little money that he now wants to increase.

Jean Michel needs another loan to buy food for the pigs that he owns. He will give feed and organic products to his cattle.

He is seeking the support of lenders, and intends to use the profits to finish building his house.
