Marie Colette's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy medium pigs, feed and crop sanitation products to ensure her livestock breeding.

Marie Colette's story

Marie Colette, 30, is a woman living with her partner, and the couple have three children together. She lives in her own house in a semi-rural neighbourhood on the outskirts of town.

Marie Colette has been involved in pig breeding and growing potatoes for 13 years. Her partner is a mason.

She is a borrower with Vahatra, and took out a loan to develop her breeding business. Marie Colette wants to improve her family's living conditions and is therefore requesting the support of lenders to increase the number of pigs to breed.

With the loan money, she will be able to buy medium pigs, feed and crop sanitation products to ensure her livestock breeding. Marie Colette is going to resell the herds to the local butchery after fattening them, after which she will repurchase other animals.

Marie Colette is going to save the profits to better ensure her children's future. She sincerely hopes for the support of funders for this project.
