A loan helped to purchase more used clothes and assorted items to increase her business.

Hawa's story

Hawa, 28, from Waterloo branch, is married with three children between the ages of 4 and 8 with two in school. She started her business because she wants to take care of her family.

She sells used clothes and other assorted items in the community. Her other source of income is from her husband. She's been in this business for a couple years. She says her business is going well without challenges.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more used clothes and other assorted items to increase her business. Hawa says the extra income from this loan will help her take care of her family and increase her business. In the future, she'd like to expand to a large scale. She thanks BRAC and Kiva for their support.
