Meleseini's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for the freights of her flea-market container at the wharf and also to hire one employee to help with selling her flea market items.

Meleseini's story

Meleseini is a 36-year-old mother to her seven children. She and her husband used to have their craft business where they made souvenir necklaces and other accessories that tourists take an interest in when they visit.

But since the lock down, their business slowly decreased due to no more tourists visiting; and therefore, they decided to do another business that they would be able to make a living from.

Thus, Meleseini made a 52-ft tapas and sent it overseas to her sister in exchange for different goods to be imported to start her flea market. Now it has been a year and a half since she started her flea market, and her family has had great benefits from it.

The flea market repays her loan and puts food on the table for her family. She sells out a variety of goods and clothes from her flea market as shown in her photo.

This loan is to help her pay for the freights of her flea-market container at the wharf and also to hire one employee to help with selling her flea market items.
