A loan helped to buy assorted clothing and footwear.

Esperanza Group's story

Fifteen women work together to be able to give their families a dignified quality of life, free of want and deprivations. They are also part of the Poverty Stoplight program with the purpose of achieving their goals and getting ahead.

Sonia is one of the members and generates the means to be able to help her family by selling clothing and footwear. She states that with effort and sacrifice she has improved her business, and she wants to continue to do so. This is why she decided to join the group. She is a very hard working person who is not afraid of challenges and puts forth her best effort to be able to achieve her goals. She is asking for this loan so she can buy all kinds of clothing and footwear thereby being able to continue with her entrepreneurship as she has been doing.

Note: Although this is a group loan there is only one person in the photo. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic it was not possible to take a group photo and maintain social distancing.
