Calle 3 Group's story

This communal bank is called “Calle 3”, the members are friends and neighbours from the city of Caaguazú. They are united and focused on growth as goal, not just in financial terms but also as people. They are part of the poverty elimination program.
Limpia is one of the members of the group, she makes a living from selling. She has a modest business where she works every day from the early morning. She has a general store selling all kinds of products and remarks that her business generates the means to pay for her families’ expenses.
Limpia describes herself as a hard working person, tenacious and above all selfless. She seeks a way to continue improving and with this provide her family with everything that she had to go without.
She is applying for this loan to buy a variety of products to stock her business; this includes baked goods, canned goods, fruit, vegetables and other products so that she can continue with her sales.
Note: Only one person appears in the picture; however this is a group loan. People are avoiding gatherings because of the Covid-19 pandemic and so it was not possible to take a group picture.
