Yosbeydis Sinahid's story

Yosbeydis Sinahid is a small entrepreneur who is 29 years old and a resident of the city of Barranquilla, where she lives with her family. She has a retail business where she has been selling cosmetics, personal care products, and accessories for the past four years. The idea for this business started in Venezuela where she had similar businesses that she managed with her husband. Years later, they decided to move to Colombia and used their savings to resume their business. They set up a shop in the central part of the city that has a large influx of people who pass through. Their business got off to a good start and their sales gradually increased, which positioned them to increase their inventory and also add a hairdressing business. This business is their only source of income by which they are able to sustain their household.

Due to the biosafety issues caused by the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, her work level declined and her earnings diminished drastically. For this reason, Yosbeydis Sinahid is requesting her first Kiva loan from Fundación Santo Domingo. She plans to buy cosmetics, makeup, masks, sponges, and other products. Please support her business loan.
