Ari's story

Ari, 43 years old, is a widow. She has three children of whom one is already independent. She lives is a rural village with her two children. Ari farms and raises animals. In terms of raising animals, she is most skilled at the raising of pigs and cattle. She has managed to take care of the basic needs of her family. To make further progress, she has decided to expand her business activities even more. She would like to take on projects to improve their daily lives.

She joined Vahatra in order to take out loans to obtain capital for these activities. She would like to increase her savings with the profits. The previous loan helped her to raise pigs. She has completed paying off that loan and wants to take out another loan. She is asking lenders to help with the purchase of a cow. She is counting on increasing her herd. Ari would like to buy a bicycle for her children and she will increase her savings for this goal.
