A loan helped to buy additional supply of goods such as biscuits, noodles, sugar, coffee and many other things to resell at her store.

Maria's story

Maria is a modest and an enterprising 49-year-old and is married. She has a very good understanding and experiences with a general store. She has one of her own, which has been running for many years, and her store is located in an excellent spot where it's easy to find, and many people always come to buy her goods every day. Running her business has made Maria become more independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family's every day's income.

She previously borrowed and repaid all of her loan and now would like a loan of $800 through Kiva field partner KIF to help improve her store. She plans to use this loan to buy additional supply of goods such as biscuits, noodles, sugar, coffee and many other things to resell at her store. Maria hopes to expand the size of her business in the future as the result of her investment and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
