Maria Rosalba's story

Maria Rosalba is an entrepreneur. She is 48 years old and a resident of the city of Cartagena de Indias, where she owns a business consisting of a store and an ice cream shop. Maria started this business on her own initiative about 2 years ago because she wanted to provide a better quality of life for her family. She started with small savings and has been able to establish herself in the area as a responsible and hardworking person.

Her business is open daily. She accepts cash payments as well as offers credit to her main customers, who are her neighbors and people from the surrounding areas. Because of health issues and orders of the national government caused by the pandemic of Covid-19, she had to suspend her business activity. She is currently requesting her first loan with the Santo Domingo Foundation to increase her working capital to enable her to buy products such as ice cream, beverages, red meat, dairy products, vegetables, and others, to increase her inventory. This will help her increase the sales and the profit of her business. Support her in obtaining the loan for her business.
