Gina Aracely's story

Gina Aracely and her family live in Portoviejo, a city that was affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016, and now by the covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in production of vegetables, legumes and tropical fruits for internal consumption.

In her home, Gina Aracely crochets a variety of garments, mostly baby bedspreads, hats, shoes as well as whatever is ordered. She sells Yanbal (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes and women's accessories) and Azzorti (beauty products, personal care items, clothing and household items) catalog products. She sells on credit and collects weekly. She has a shop window at her home where she has merchandise at fair prices. Her daughter became ill with covid-19 and is currently recovering. At the beginning of the health crisis, she was not able to work due to various restrictions that impeded her from selling, but now she is following biosafety protocols.

This loan will be used to purchase wool in various colors, banners, cups, jars, perfumes, costume jewelry, etc. Her dream is to have more sales and that her family will have good health.
