Jose Pascual's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for coconuts, disposable cups, vehicle maintenance and tires.

Jose Pascual's story

Jose Pascual and his family live in Portoviejo, a city that was affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016, and now by the covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in production of vegetables, legumes and tropical fruits for internal consumption.

Jose Pascual takes care of his mother who is older and needs special care. He makes a living by selling coconut water. He transports it by tricycle and goes to various areas in the city. Currently, he sells for about 5 hours a day on a road outside of a financial institution. He works Monday through Saturday, starting very early. At the beginning of social distancing, he was not able to work due to various restrictions that impeded him from going out to sell. Now he follows all biosecurity protocols.

This loan will be used to purchase coconuts, disposable cups, vehicle maintenance and tires. His dream is to have a lot of sales and that his mother will have good health.
