Aburukundo Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more apples, pineapples, and mangoes.

Aburukundo Cb Group's story

Beatha is a 42-year-old mother of three children who are between the ages of 10 and 22 years old. Her husband is a driver. For the past 13 years, Beatha has been selling fruits.

She is the leader of the group named Aburukundo CB, which means “people with love” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Beatha will use her portion of the loan to buy more apples, pineapples, and mangoes to sell in her community in order to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to furnish her house.

Beatha is thankful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
