Tuelewane Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase beverages including Bralima and Brasimba, two kinds of African beer.

Tuelewane Group's story

Madame Aimee is a client of microfinance institution Hekima and leads the Tuelewane Group. She is 49 years old, married, and has 3 children who are all in school. Her husband is a decorator.

Aimee sells groceries, a business she started 12 years ago with startup funds from her husband. Later, she partnered with Hekima to support her business, and it has grown steadily since. With this new loan, she will purchase beverages including Bralima and Brasimba, 2 types of African beer, to increase her working capital. Her business's main challenge is unpaid debts.

Aimee would like for her children to continue their studies and to open additional businesses, like a restaurant. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they give to owners of non-bankable businesses during the global Covid-19 crisis. Only the group leader is shown due to social distancing measures.
