Wariti Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy oil, sugar, rice and flour in order to increase her initial working capital.

Wariti Group's story

Mrs. Marie Jeanne is a client of the Hekima MFI and she is the leader of the Wariti Group. She is married, 54 years old and has 7 children, 4 of whom are in school while 3 have completed their schooling. Her partner is a technician.

She sells food products, a business that she started 20 years ago with start-up funds from her husband. Later on, she relied on the Hekima program to support her business which has developed progressively.

With this new loan, she wants to buy oil, sugar, rice and flour in order to increase her working capital. The main challenge she faces in her business is the rate of exchange.

She would like to see her children pursue their education and she also wants to build a house. She thanks Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to business owners who cannot access bank funding in this context of global crisis resulting from Covid-19. The picture only shows the leader of the group due to compliance with Covid-19 social distancing measures.
