Baoba Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on Bazin fabric, jewels, and cloth slippers, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Baoba Group's story

Madame Louise is a client of IMF Hekima and she is the president of the “Baoba” village group. She was married, and is now divorced. She is 50 years old. She is the mother of 8 children, 4 of which are in school and 4 have already finished school.

She sells various clothing. She started this business 11 years ago with starter funds from her ex-husband. Later, she chose the Hekima program to support her business, during which she has gradually progressed.

With this new loan, she is going to stock up on Bazin fabric, jewels, and cloth slippers, which will strengthen her initial capital. The difficulty with her work is related to fraud from certain customers. She would like her children to continue their studies, and she would like to open another business like a hardware store.

Lastly, she wishes to thank Hekima and their partners for the support given to unbankable business owners in the context of the global crisis related to Covid-19. Only the group leader is in the photo because of Covid-19 and with respect for social distancing measures.
