Luatasi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy taro roots (seedlings), banana tubes (seedlings), chemicals, a backpack sprayer and chainsaw.

Luatasi's story

Luatasi is a 64-year-old married woman with one child. She runs a business selling taro and bananas in her community to earn a living. She has four years' experience in this business.

Luatasi works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and bananas. She has even delivered her products to the flea market by bus.

Luatasi thinks she will earn more income if she plants more bananas and taro, but to do this, she needs a loan to buy taro roots (seedlings), banana tube (seedlings), chemicals, a backpack sprayer and chainsaw.

Luatasi comes from a family in which no ones work to earn a living. Only her business will help her family's needs. Her dream is that one day her family will enjoy a great living standard.

Luatasi became a member of SPBD in 2016 to seek finance for her business. She realizes that your support through financing will be a big help for her and her family.
