A loan helped to purchase five pigs to strengthen her initial capital.

Maranatha Group's story

Madame Bernadette is a client of the MFI Hekima and leader of the groupe villageoise Maranatha. She is 38 years old, widowed, and the mother of five children, all of whom are in school.

She sells pork. She started this business five years ago with startup funding she received herself. Later she joined the Hekima program to support her business and has been gradually growing. With this new loan, she will purchase five pigs to strengthen her initial capital. The challenge for her business is a lack of merchandise.

She would like for her children to continue going to school and she would like to expand her business. Finally, she thanks Hekima and its partners for their support of unbankable businesses during the COVID-19 global crisis.
