A loan helped to buy construction supplies to renovate her old home.

Lorn's story

Lorn, 53, is a married woman with five children living in Angkor Borei District, Takeo Province. She is a conscientious rice farmer who owns and manages around two hectares of farmland. She works with her spouse, earning in the vicinity of $6 USD each day. She has been doing this for almost 10 years. Rice farming provides all of her family’s income. She is honest and industrious in her daily duties, because she wants to raise her living conditions and provide for her children's basic needs and education.

Due to a shortage of money, Lorn is asking for a loan to buy construction supplies to renovate her old home. She hopes that, through the help of the loan, she can provide everyone in her family with a suitable place to live and comfortable living conditions. Lorn will have enough funds to purchase construction supplies, such as bricks, cement, zinc, and other necessary items, and to pay for labor costs. Lorn sends thanks to all lenders for helping her to improve her family's economic situation. She believes that, through her hard work and perseverance, she will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
