Farida's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase the volume of milk she sells.

Farida's story

This lovely woman, Farida, is 46 years old and married, with grown children. She has a high-school education. By her nature she is caring and kind She has been raising crops and animals since 2008 as the primary source of income for her family. Thanks to Farida's hard work and her husband's help with the farm, her farm currently has 6 cows, 20 sheep, 6 horses, and 0.8 ha of irrigated land where she grows organic alfalfa. She has a contract to supply organic milk to a local plant for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agriculture business.

After finding out that as part of the Value Chain offering she could get a loan at Bai-Tushum Bank secured by her contract for future shipments, she applied for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows to increase her milk sales. Payments for the milk from the Plant will be transferred directly to Farida's bank account, and loan payments will be automatically deducted. Income from the loan will help her grow her farm further.
