Lalaina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy the necessary inputs for potato farming.

Lalaina's story

Lalaina is a 37-year-old woman. She is a widow and takes care of her three children on her own. The family lives in a rural village, in a wooden house on her property. Lalaina has a single source of income: agriculture. The earnings from this activity cover expenses for the family's needs. Lalaina is still fighting for better living conditions. She wants her children to be successful and wants to invest as much as possible in their education.

Lalaina joined Vahatra to begin taking out small loans. She is very determined to progressively expand her farming to increase her income. Then she could more easily cover family expenses and could also deposit savings. This loan will help her with potato farming. She needs seeds, fertilizer, and will also pay some labourers to help her. She delivers her products to collectors.

Lalaina is hoping for the support of lenders.
