Taalaykul's story

This pretty woman is Taalaykul. She is 45 years old, married and has dependent children. She has a high school education and is sympathetic and kindly by nature. Since 2004, the main income for her family has been from raising livestock and crops. Thanks to her hard work and her husband's help, Taalaykul has on her farm today 4 cows, 20 sheep, 4 horses and .65 hectares of irrigated land where she grows organic alfalfa.

Taalaykul has an agreement to deliver organic milk to a local plant for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. Taalaykul applied for 200,000 som (KGS) from Bai Tushum Bank after learning that she can receive the loan based on her contract for future deliveries as part of the product "value chain". She will purchase dairy cows to increase her volume of milk sales. Payments for the milk from the plant will be deposited directly into her bank account and loan payments automatically deducted. The income from the loan will help further develop her farm.
