Abadacogora Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped use her portion of the loan to buy more maize and sorghum.

Abadacogora Cb Group's story

Beatrice is 45 years old and a mother of seven children between the ages of 3 and 20. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 10 years she has been selling foodstuffs.

Beatrice is the leader of the group Abadacogora Cb Group, which means “undefeated people” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Beatrice will use her portion of the loan to buy more maize and sorghum to sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she will set aside some savings and expand her business.

She is grateful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
