A loan helped to buy shoes and clothing in order to increase her working capital.

Dorcas Iii Group's story

Mrs. Chanceline is a client of the Hekima MFI and is the leader of the Dorcas Iii Group. She is 41 years old, married and the mother of 8 children who are all in school. Her partner is a merchant.

She sells clothing, a business that she started 10 years ago with start-up funds that she received from her husband. Later on, she relied on the Hekima program to support her business which has developed well. With this new loan money, she will buy shoes and clothes in order to increase her capital. The main challenge she faces in her business is the level of taxes imposed by the state.

She wants to help her children pursue their studies and to expand her business. She thanks Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to business owners who cannot access bank funding in this context of global crisis resulting from Covid-19. The picture only shows the leader of the group due to compliance with Covid-19 social distancing measures.
