Rugwasane Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on rice, flour, spices, oil, and sugar, which will strengthen her starting capital.

Rugwasane Group's story

Madame Eugenie is a customer of the microfinance institution Hekima and head of the village group Rugwasane. She is married, 49 years old, and the mother of 6 children, all of whom are in school. Her partner is unemployed.

She sells food and started this business 18 years ago with the startup funds received from her husband. Later, she became involved with the program Hekima to maintain her business, during which time she gradually made progress. With this new loan, she will stock up on rice, flour, spices, oil, and sugar, which will strengthen her starting capital. There are no problems with her work.

She would like for her children to continue studying and for herself to do livestock farming. Lastly, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to owners of nonbankable business in light of the global COVID-19 crisis.
