Caroline's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase Vodafone and Digicel credit in order to serve her customers and increase her income.

Caroline's story

Caroline lives in a village which is located about half an hour from Port Vila, Vanuatu. Her community is large, and the main industry there is agriculture. Locals rely a lot on farming for food and income, so most have been able to earn an income during the pandemic.

Caroline is 28 years old and a mother of two. Her children are 5 and 4 years old, and both are attending kindergarten. Her partner works under the Seasonal Workers Pilot scheme in Australia doing horticulture work. Currently she and her children reside with her parents-in-law.

Caroline has requested a loan to help her purchase Vodafone and Digicel credit. The demand for credit is especially high in rural areas, so she wants to make sure she has enough to satisfy her customers. Caroline also sells small retail goods to earn extra income. She plans to use her profits to pay for her children's schooling so they can get a good education and earn a well-paid job.

Caroline would like to see that her children are provided with everything they need for a bright future!
