Camila Andrea's story

Camila Andrea is a 21-year-old micro-entrepreneur, and she lives in the city of Cartagena with her family.

For 3 years, she has sold cell phones, accessories, and spare parts. She started the business because of the need to generate income to help her partner go forward and to continue with their education. She has experience in this work, and works with her husband, who helps her. They decided to start a small store in Turbaco. With a little capital, they started selling accessories, and in the future, she wants to grow her business. This work is her only source of income, and it enables her to contribute to the household finances.

Because of the global COVID-19 pandemic, though, her business declined due to concerns over health and safety, and her income decreased dramatically.

Because of this, she requests her first Kiva loan from the Fundación Santo Domingo with the goal of investing in buying cell phones, cases, and touchscreens. Help her with this loan for her business.
