Kijito Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on used women's shoes to resell.

Kijito Group's story

Ms. Marie is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and presides over the village group “KIJITO”; she is married, 43 years old, and the mother of six children, all provided with schooling. Her partner is a driver.

A vendor of shoes, she started this enterprise in 2010 with startup funding from her husband. Later on, she got involved with the Hekima program to support her enterprise and has since been working progressively in it.

With this new loan, she will stock up on secondhand women’s shoes, and this will bolster her initial capital. Her business has no difficulties.

She would like to develop her enterprise and for her children to continue their studies. So she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during this global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo shows only the group leader because of COVID-19, so as to respect social distancing measures.
