but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase pajamas, robes, dresses, blouses, and jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc.

Shekinara Valentina's story

Shekinara Valentina and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016 and now by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a city rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Shekinara Valentina works selling a variety of clothing for women and steel jewelry. She is selling these online, through WhatsApp, and at her house to her customers who always come to purchase. She leaves them with her customers on credit and collects weekly.

At first the social distancing left her without a job due to the fear of the virus and various restrictions which prevented going out to sell. But, currently she is working, following the biosafety protocols.

This loan is to purchase pajamas, robes, dresses, blouses, and jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc. Her dream is to finish her university education and for her sales to continue growing.
