A loan helped to buy cheese, corn, rice and other raw materials to make snack foods.

Iris Veronica's story

Iris lives with her partner and two dependent children, ages 19 and 14. She has no relatives living abroad.

Iris sells typical snack foods and has been in business for over three years. She work from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The advantage she has with her business is that she is very popular so her sales do not vary much. The disadvantage is the price of the raw materials, which is high, that she uses to make the snack foods. Iris explains that she learned her trade with the help of her mother.

She is applying for a loan because she needs work capital to expand her inventory. She will buy cheese, corn, rice and other raw materials to make snack foods. Iris trusts that the investment will help boost her business so she will have the opportunity to increase sales and profits.

Her dream is to have better economic conditions to pay off debt and to provide her children with an education so they will have better development.
