Patricia Valentina's story

Patricia Valentina and her family live in San Jacinto, a fishing town. Its economy is based on fish, salt extraction, tourism, trade, and handmade crafts like cast nets and objects made from oyster and snail shells on a small scale.

Previously, Patricia Valentina had an ice cream store. Now, she sells varied women's clothing. She sells door to door, through WhatsApp, and from her home, where she has a variety of merchandise. She and her husband also sell seafood that he fishes, and people also come to the house to buy a variety of fresh seafood.

In her family, all of them fell ill from COVID-19, and they have all recovered. At first, the lockdown left her with no work due to the fear of contagion and because of various restrictions that stopped them from going out to sell. However, now they are following all of the bio-safety protocols.

This loan is to buy orders of t-shirts, jeans, shorts, Bermuda shorts, pajamas, etc. Her dream is to have a large clothing store and for her family to be very healthy.
