Rosa Estrella's story

Rosa Estrella and her family live in San Jacinto, which is a village of fishermen. Its economy is based on fishing, salt extraction, tourism, commerce, and crafts such as fishing nets, and items made from various shells at a small scale.

At her house and selling house-to-house, Rosa Estrella sells a variety of clothing for women, men, and children. She purchases at the distributors at good prices, and can get earnings. She works every day for 4 hours, making rounds through various sectors of the city. She leaves them on credit with her customers and collects weekly. Before, she sold fishing products.

At first, the social distancing left her without work due to the fear of the virus and various restrictions which prevented going out to sell. But, currently she is working, following the biosafety protocols.

This loan is to purchase orders of t-shirts, pants, dresses, bermuda shorts, shirts, robes, etc., and fuel. Her dream is that her business continues growing and her family is very healthy.
