Lorena Del Carmen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy perfumes, creams, deodorants, jewellery, shampoo, etc.

Lorena Del Carmen's story

Lorena Del Carmen and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016 and now with the covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes and tropical fruits for local consumption.

Lorena Del Carmen works selling items from catalogues including Yanbal, Avon and Belcorp (lbel, cyzone, esika) (Beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes and accessories for women). She works three days a week, two to three hours a day. She sells on credit and gets paid every eight days.

In her family, she and a daughter became ill with covid-19, who are already recovered. The social isolation at first kept her from working due to the fear of contagion and to various restrictions that prevented her from going out to sell. But she is currently working with the bio-security protocols.

This loan is to buy perfumes, creams, deodorants, jewellery, shampoo, etc. Her dream is for her sales to go back to the way they were before, and for her family to be in good health.
