Karina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase her work capital and to buy items such as water, energy drinks, sodas, chips, and a variety of snacks to sell.

Karina's story

Karina is an enterprising, 33-year-old woman. She lives in the city of Cartagena de Indias where she has a store selling drinks and snacks as her business.

Karina started this business approximately three years ago due to a lack of work opportunities, and out of a desire to improve the quality of life of her and her family. She offers her services daily to her primary customers who are neighbors, family, friends, and people close to the area. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Karina had to suspend her sales because of regulations by the national government and due to health considerations.

She is currently seeking her first Kiva loan, through the Fundación Santo Domingo, to increase her work capital and to buy items such as water, energy drinks, sodas, chips, and a variety of snacks. This will increase her sales and profits. Support her with this business loan.
