Juan Carlos's story

Juan Carlos is a micro-entrepreneur of 31 years of age, a resident of the city of Cartagena de Indias, where he has a business of making clothing. Juan began this business approximately 5 years ago because of the lack of work opportunities and out of the desire to move his family ahead and be able to offer them a better quality of life.

With the passing of time, this young man has earned renown in the sector as a responsible, hard-working, and very disciplined person. He offers his services daily to his principal customers, who are his neighbors, people from adjoining areas, and businesses with whom he contracts. He is paid in cash or on credit.

At this time, his business is suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic, due to health issues. For this reason, he is arranging his first Kiva loan with Fundación Santo Domingo in order to increase his working capital and for the purchase of basic supplies such as fabrics, thread, pins, and buttons, among other items, in order to be able to reactivate his business, increase his sales, and increase his profits.

Support him with his loan for his business!
