Abishyizehamwe Tcb Group's story

Xaveline is a 53-year-old mother of six children aged 13 through 31 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and, for the past 21 years, she has been selling foodstuffs in her community trying to make ends meet.

Xaveline is the leader of Abishyizehamwe TCB Group, which in English means “people who joined together.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses within and outside their community.

Xaveline will use her loan to buy buy more sweet potatoes, Irish potatoes and cassava that she can sell within her community. She plans to use the profits from her sales to increase her savings and provide for the family.
