Jane's story

Jane is a 54-year-old mother of five children, two of whom are in school. She is a mother who is blessed with lovely children. Jane has been operating her farm in a remote area for the past few years. She lives in Kapcherop with her family. Jane has learned several new farming practices that improve sustainability, enhance resilience, and are likely to be helpful in adapting to climate change.

Her main sources of income include milk and crops. In the modern world, agriculture has become exceedingly dynamic, which means that the inputs that are being used in the sector today are much better. On this note, there is a need to use improved farming inputs for effective production, which include high-quality seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers. Jane learned that Juhudi Kilimo has intervened in the activities of rural, smallholder farmers and is giving them financial support in the form of loans to help them access income-generating assets and farming inputs.

Jane will use this loan to purchase farm inputs, such as high-quality seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers, to boost her crop yields. Please lend to this industrious woman so that she can save for her family.
