Yefry Enrique's story

Yefry Enrique, age 30, is a micro-entrepreneur who lives with his spouse in the city of Barranquilla. He has a business providing of printing, scanning, written work services and selling ice cream.

His idea for a business began in order to generate extra income for his family, to cover household expenses and to offer them a better quality of life. He studied the sector where he lives, and identified the opportunity to provide printing, scanning and written work services. He made the investment with his own funds and the support of his wife. In time, he decided to obtain a freezer and to sell ice cream. The business grew rapidly and permitted him to increase his inventory of products.

His customers are neighbors, friends, and relatives. Due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, his level of work diminished due to bio-security issues and his income dropped drastically.

Now he is applying for his first Kiva loan from the Fundación Santo Domingo in order to invest in the purchase of ice cream, stationery, display cases, and a power plant. Please support him in his loan for his business.
