Ubumwe Acb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more trousers and shirts to sell.

Ubumwe Acb Group's story

Consolee is a 58-year-old mother of four children who range in age from 15 to 26. Her husband is a farmer. For the past three years, she has been selling clothes.

Consolee is the leader of the group named Ubumwe ACB, which means “as one” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses within the community.

Consolee will use her loan to buy more trousers and shirts to sell in her community. She plans to use the profits from her sales to grow her business and also provide for her family. Consolee is thankful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
