Marileidis's story

Marileidis, age 30, is a micro-entrepreneur living in the city of Cartagena with her family. For three years, she has had a business of a mini-store and selling fried foods. She began this work with her mother, who helped her to make her first purchases.

The business arose from the need to have income to be able to study and to contribute to her family's expenses. Now she has potential clients such as friends, neighbors, visitors, and others. However, due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, her level of business declined due to questions of bio-security, and her income dropped drastically.

Now she is applying for her first Kiva loan with the Fundación Santo Domingo in order to invest in the purchase of rice, meat, detergent, vegetables, provisions, and groceries in general. Please support her loan for her business.
